Procedure - Laceration Repairs
Performed by - SB
Surgery time - 45 minutes

Flow by isoflorine and oxygen. 
Lidocaine block around the plantar aspect of the foot and the
plantar aspect of the retrograde toe. 
Skin was excized in a semicircular pattern both sides were then
sutured together to decrease the pocket where debris was causing
chronic infections. Debrided the dorsal aspect of the toe that
is forming a callous. Used a pool noodle to support the area
to help stability and take pressure off of the area to allow
the area to start healing 

Rinse incision EOD can dress wound, and use the pool noodle while
the rest of the callous heals

Once removed, it created hole. Would like to see if we can amputate this part of the toe.

Right foot has swelling and is knuckling under patient. Patient is walking on top of third digit. Third digit is fused backwards and patient has no feeling in third toe. Third toe has dead and decayed tissue from pressure of walking and standing on top of the toe. Has smell of infection. Starting clinda and melox. AV/NM
