Surgery report |
Procedure - Laceration Repairs | Performed by - SB | Surgery time - 45 minutes | Flow by isoflorine and oxygen.
Lidocaine block around the plantar aspect of the foot and the
plantar aspect of the retrograde toe.
Skin was excized in a semicircular pattern both sides were then
sutured together to decrease the pocket where debris was causing
chronic infections. Debrided the dorsal aspect of the toe that
is forming a callous. Used a pool noodle to support the area
to help stability and take pressure off of the area to allow
the area to start healing
Rinse incision EOD can dress wound, and use the pool noodle while
the rest of the callous heals |
